Neihaischen (Schuttrange, Luxembourg district)
a trip to the world of the Celts, exciting fighting shows, workshops, authentic Celtic camps, live music performances and Celtic cuisine in a family friendly environment celebrating the ancient Beltane Festival in a reconstrcuted Celtic Village...
The Celtic Festival "Bealtaine" is celebrated each year on the Pentecost weekend in the village Neuhaeusgen (Neihaischen) located in the commune of Schuttrange, in southern Luxembourg.
The festival is presenting the daily life of the Celts, portrayed by the authentically dressed Reenactors coming from Belgium, the Netherlands, Scotland, France and other European countries. The visitors can enjoy staged spectacles, fighting shows and musical performances. More than 30 workshops are offered in the Celtic village by professional craftsmen, inviting children and adults to learn to produce stone sculptures, ceramics, iron and bronze, as well as to try blacksmithing, weaving and Celtic cuisine.
